Phil Skylar & Crawly - Bobbleheads
Sunday Apr 28, 2019
Sunday Apr 28, 2019
A bobblehead, also known as a nodder, wobbler or bobble head, is a type of collectable doll. Its head is often oversized compared to its body. Instead of a solid connection, its head is connected to the body by a spring or hook in such a way that a light tap will cause the head to bobble, hence the name.
Today we bobble over to the world’s only Bobblehead Hall of Fame & Museum. Featuring the largest bobblehead collection, exhibits, store, event space & more, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum is fun for everyone! Not just for sports fans, the Museum also features movie, TV, pop-culture, vintage and thousands of other unique bobbleheads.
Our guests are Phil Skylar who is the owner of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum and Crawly who is the Club 400 Bobblehead expert.

Sunday Apr 21, 2019
The 1989 Chicago Cubs season was one of the most exciting in the past 50 years. Highlighting the season was the Cubs second National League Eastern Division championship with a record of 93-69. The Cubs had all-star seasons from Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, Rick Sutcliffe and Mitch Williams. But the catalysts of the team were rookie outfielders Jerome Walton and Dwight Smith. In addition to setting the table for the other great hitters in the lineup, they finished first and second in rookie of the year voting. If you can't remember who won, don't worry, they will tell you. This version of the show is uncensored so beware!

On this show, we have the person who first took the "W" on the road. A staple of Cub Fans everywhere, we have a great history of the "W" flag and its travels from Cub Fan, Bob O'Hara. Also, with the big Ben Zobrist to Club 400 even coming up, we had the opportunity to hear from Mike Alejandro who has generously offered to purchase and cook all of the food for the event, which makes that much more for for the Keltner family. Mike owns Beaners Mexican BBQ in Hebron. Finally, as we all get ready for opening day, we have some Danny Rockett classics to get you in the mood!

Adam Feather - The Wolf of Wrigley
Sunday Mar 10, 2019
Sunday Mar 10, 2019
Having lived in Wrigleyville over the past decade, my experiences are loosely based on the movie The Wolf of Wall Street. Having formerly worked in the financial industry, having an equal passion for baseball, having the best team in baseball as well as my love for going out, having fun, being social, loud and energetic-- it was these factors that gave birth to The Wolf of Wrigley parody.
The Wolf of Wrigley exists for one reason. It's an opportunity for people to let loose and have fun in a safe and respectful manner in the greatest city in the world with the best baseball team in the world!!
The Wolf of Wrigley is more than just a saying. It's a lifestyle. It's an attitude. It's an experience. Being a "Wolf" means being a leader. You're a type A personality. An alpha male or alpha female. You're loud, energetic, driven, motivated, passionate and fearless. You're a go-getter, aggressive and you're a closer. You have that cut throat mentality. Basically it means you're the "top dog" and that you're the best at what you do!

Roberto Ramos - Captain Cubbo

Sunday Mar 03, 2019
Growing up across the street from Wrigley Field, in 1971, is where it started for Captain Cubbo.
His parents owned the property until 1986. During that time, he played a lot of baseball, loving the Chicago Cubs. Knowing that WGN would broadcast the games, and that it would be seen on the island, his dad decided to show his pride by displaying a Puerto Rican flag on our three-flat unit.
There were about 85 percent Puerto Ricans that lived in the neighborhood, so it was easy playing baseball with so many kids. Weather permitting, they always had enough kids to play a game. From the red-top parking lot to the corner of Addison and Sheffield — those were their baseball diamonds.
